Well well well. Another daily thought post. I am putting this one under the 18th although it is technically the 19th. It’s almost 4am, I am currently writing this whilst in VRChat, with my bluetooth keyboard on my lap, in Kaleidosky. So this post may be even more incoherent than usual, and I don’t know what I’ll be writing about yet!
Kaleidosky
I’ve been waiting for this event for a couple weeks. In about an hour as I’m writing this, there should be a Switch Angel set on here. I’ve found out about Switch Angel several months ago. Strudel being used to code music looks so cool, and it’s still kinda wild to me that she’s gonna perform live into VRC.
So far, the music’s been pretty good, and I’m loving the new Kaleidosky visuals. I’ve listened to Electro and Senkey perform, among others. Very cool event so far, though I will most likely leave after Switch Angel finishes (at 6am…)
Gaming
I didn’t have much time to play games this week unfortunately. I tried playing a bit of Crimson Desert today but I dunno. Either I’m still burned out on games or I’m just bored of that one for now. Although I don’t have a ton of motivation to play games at the moment anyway so who knows.
Overwatch (2026) season 2 is out too, cool cool. Ramattra is in stadium finally, and there’s a new hero. I suck at Overwatch.
I’ve played one session of Split Fiction today. I’ve played It Takes Two with the same friend before, and I feel like I liked that one more. Both of the characters in Split Fiction are kinda annoying so far, but maybe that will change in the future. Although the pig level is starting to convince me that this game is actually peak…
Anime
A few animes I’ve watched recently.
Witch Hat Atelier - I’m loving this one so far. Not only is the animation quality really good, I also feel like the magic system in this anime is really cool. I always appreciate a good magic system in any piece of fiction. I’ve only watched the first episode so far, but I’m looking forward to following this one along.
Nier Anime - It’s okay so far. The first episode was a bit slow, second one was a bit more interesting. I dunno, I gotta watch more of it to see if I like it.
Needy Streamer Overload - We watched two episodes of this one so far. I dunno, it’s kinda boring so far, we will probably just drop it at this point. Not only am I just confused, what I can make out of the main plot just isn’t interesting.
Serial Experiments Lain - Watched the first episode recently. This anime has been on my mental to-watch list for a long time. I love the intro music, and the first episode sets up some interestring stuff… It’s a pretty short anime too so I do want to finish it.
